I hope I am not repeating myself, and I apologize if I am. I can't remember any more what threads I post in or on which forum ....
This has become a song I find myself constantly whistling to and having stuck in my mind. I want my twin nephews to hear it so badly. It really is a song everyone can sing to ... though it's best no one hears me singing it of course ...

same here John, I love this and think it would be well received if it got some christmas radio air play.

It's one of them "ear-worm" songs - the kind that infiltrate your mind and you simply cannot excavate it out

I have a similar "problem" with MyMyTimeFlies.

I love this one, no apologies. It's bouncy, happy, already a favorite in this household. It's just Currirer-and-Ives classic. The adding a new layer of vocals or instruments every line or stanza is just a delight for the ears. Love the jingle bells, love the chimes, love the snare drum, love the organ. Great crispness on the vocals here--I can understand every word despite the layering of her voice. That ending is just splendid with the glory, Glory, GLORY!

I absolutely love this song. It's so up beat and happy. It cheers me up every time I hear it.

I love this song, too. I'm currently listening the album via headphones ... It occurred to me that this song's rhythm sounds as it it had been beaten by one toy soldier ...

I didn't like this song very much when hearing it for the first time, but after hearing it more and more I began to like it a lot. It's very much a danceable, Christmas spirited song as well. Not many of those around. Maybe a little bit too metallic for my taste, but I prefer to have the song on the album. Yeap, a great ending with Glory! Glory! Glory!

I just can't get it out of my head ... Together with 2-3 other songs from this album ...

I do love this song - and the closer it gets to Christmas, the more I like it.
I agree with Riene's earlier comment about the GLORY, GLORY, GLORY ending - it is a perfect way to end the song.
However..... I don't know if maybe I'm just being greedy, but I always find the song a little too short, almost as if there's one more stanza and repeat verse missing. However much I love the way the songs closes, it happens too soon! I want to sing along one last time!!! ;D
Is this just a feeling peculiar to me?? I'm interested in others' views on this...

I fell in love with this one almost immediately, and yes, I'd happily put another stanza or two with the present lyrics.

I think this is one of the best melodies on the album; a bright cameo from a Victorian postcard. Wonderful!

Interesting image, Sky - the Victorian postcard. Hadn't thought of that, and it fits the song very well.
