This is one of the two songs that I think could be an instrumental. The wording of the press release is vague IMO, so I believe it's possible there will be an instrumental or two on the album. I love the title. It's softly romantic with a hint of melancholy to it. If it is a vocal, then the lyrics could be very interesting.

The title reminds me of the old poem "The Highwayman."
"One kiss, my bonny sweetheart, I'm after a prize to-night, But I shall be back with the yellow gold before the morning light; Yet, if they press me sharply, and harry me through the day, Then look for me by moonlight, Watch for me by moonlight, I'll come to thee by moonlight, though hell should bar the way." --Alfred Noyes

That would be a great inspiration, Riene.
This is the poem that Loreena McKennitt used isn't it--The Highwayman?

Yes, same poem, or mostly the same. I just heard her version of it on Friday, oddly enough. I have trouble understanding LMcK sometimes.

I adore this track. This is definitely my immediate favourite on AWC - so beautifully hopeful yet melancholy

I'll be brief: I adore this song, I love this song, I delight in the lyrics and in the melody both - and, btw, did I mention I like it?

This song just stunned me. Superb melody line and transitions to chorus, wonderful wistful lyrics. She puts a lot of emotion into her voice with this song. The upswell and deepening intensity of vocals at "ohhhh, remember this" is something I could never get tired of. Really like the clattering little chimes at the beginning of the song--makes me think of icicles. The style of the song itself reminds me of something I can't quite put a finger to...perhaps the 1940s vocal groups? 6/5 for me...I love this one. It is already on my list of favorite Enya songs.

It's now my fav Enya song, in a dead heat with WSTHH. It has not "worn off" on me at all, rather it has gotten more and more "attached" to my ears - the dreaded Ear Worm Attack!

I can't add anything that hasn't already been said, especially the last two posts. Usually with an Enya song it's either the lyrics or melody which lures me into a song. This time it is both. Like Moe, WSTHH was, and still is one of my most adored songs...however LTBM is right up there, if not even with. (I wish there were English lyrics for WSTHH)
EDIT: I wish she Sang WSTHH in English, is what I meant. Come on Roma, create some English lyrics for a bonus B-side, hard to get only in Abu Dabi single please? Pretty please?? ;D

LOL, The Monorail Cat Has Left the Station!!
Is this a sly reference to Trains and Midnight Cats?
Maybe they can write Gaelic lyrics for WSTHH - then they could release it again as a b-side, and people would be beside themselves?

I like the B-Side idea, too. Does anyone think they will put together some kind of 20th anniversary compliation? Gaelic would be great for WSTHH. But for me to connect with a song on a higher level, I like to be able to understand the lyrics. WSTHH and a few others are an exception to this rule, but I prefer a song like LTBM overall.

Do you think there is any chance that LTBM will be released as a single? By now, Aigle must know how much the fans (from what I've read) love this song.
