Although I've seen it spelled phonetically as "enya nee vrheenan" I don't know that I've ever actually heard her pronounce her full name before. I like her voice from when she was younger--I think the Gaelic accent comes through a bit more. She has a pretty laugh, sounds somewhat shy.
It was fun to hear her talk about which of those songs are her favorites, the ones that she said she "pushed" onto the album. I've always loved Marble Halls, so her comments on it were a pleasure to find. The discussion with Roma about Only If was neat, too.
Thanks for the link, TC!

It was a rather short interview. I actually thought it would be longer, but it was very nice. It's always nice to hear Enya's voice. To me, nothing new in terms of questions and responses. I don't know how anyone can be asked the same, "are you lonely?" question, so many times and respond with charm and grace each time ... just because she lives in a castle ...

The "are you lonely" strikes me as rather rude in fact - it's not his business.

I suppose it's human nature, and maybe some wistful thinking. Beautiful woman, big castle, no significant other in sight...

She does handle that kind of question well - I suppose she'd had to get used to it.

I don't know why they assume that since she lives alone in a castle that she is lonely. I'm sure there are a lot of single women who live alone in large houses and are not alone. Like Moe said I guess she is used to it.

Ok, I am SO excited!!!! No words...just excited!! I know a few people don't really like this song, but I don't care. I can't wait to see her perform it. I wonder what she has up her sleeve performance wise?
