Thanks for the info, sempiternity! Edit: Well, this is interesting. As recently as Friday, the Haswed.com URL was active. Today, I'm getting the below "Site not Found" message when I use the "https" (secure) prefix. If I use "http" (non-secure) I see a Dreamhost "parked domain" page (with a sleepy kitten). What are others seeing? 2021_07_25_HaswedDotCom_SiteNotFound by Candace66, on Flickr On the site, I see the Trio's farewell message to Unity.

The best guess I come up with for that word is that Roma may have taken it from a Finnish poem named Kultaisia Latiä (Golden Leaves). "Alati henkevämmin heleten / syystuulen syliin lehdet varisevat,"- where it is the most difficult and poetic and crucial word in the stanza and maybe the poem, meaning something like 'gleaming, glowing, aburn, incandescent, infused with spiritual power'. ("Always animatedly gleaming / the leaves drop towards the bosom of the autumn wind,") This reminds me of the trees in Middleearth / The Lord Of The Rings ... Sadly I never took part in any of the Loxian games, as my private life was in an entirely different direction, then. Thanks for the info, sempiternity! Edit: Well, this is interesting. Yikes, I can't believe the actual site is just empty. Do we know if it's been purchased by a squatter or if it's still owned by them and just blank?

It's just standard for a Domain that is unused. The last attempt at finding ownership was a company that runs social media campaigns for Groups and artists; based in London.

Hmmm. None of that bodes well for us getting another album.

For Enya.com, I went on a few domain lookup websites and found what might just be an interesting coincidence, haha. The date the domain registry seemed to have been updated was on the 26th of May 2022. That also happens to be the same day that Moya's honorary doctorate event was, which Enya also attended. (Currently this is also the latest that we have seen of Enya - hopefully there will be more to hear from her soon, too)

I have been contemplating no more enya albums without despair, as the albums we now have form an impressive body of work. I would just wish all of them a happy retirement.

I'm not sure if this would mean someone else recently bought the domain, or if the £51.99 cost is just a fee to contact whoever is selling this and pay 20% of (or off) the original commission price.

Oh okay, I didn't check the parking page before, haha. It is probably the Go Daddy company who own it; the address in Arizona looks like the same address as their headquarters. The website could come back in the case of a new album, but true, it doesn't look as likely. If the website isn't relaunched for Enya, a different platform would be good. Perhaps someone might develop an Enya-related app?

I had some white wine the other day and bought AigleMusic.com on a whim. Maybe the trio will slide into my DMs now (or send me a cease and desist haha).

I tried that too - I think that might be because Felipe Dário also owns enyaone.com. I discovered the site a few months ago; it is rather good. Perhaps less decorative than enya.sk, but seems more recently updated, and easier to navigate and find more information about the music. Also enyabookofdays.com is great for reading the earlier transcribed Enya interviews - would this site also be able to return?

Enya Book of Days was developed by a friend of mine, and I assume is still owned by her. I am not certain she has any interest in returning to the Enya world especially given the lack of new music or content.

That would be nice if she did return, perhaps with updates to the site too, if there were to be a new Enya album

That would be nice if she did return, perhaps with updates to the site too, if there were to be a new Enya album That's what Enya fandom everywhere is waiting for, isn't it? Sarah McLachlan says in recent interviews that she has the songs for/of a now album, mostly completed a year or so ago after about 3 years of work. But the music industry is being very difficult about albums. Post-epidemic (sort of) the audiences are there for singles and videos released online, enough die hard fans are back for performances in small to medium sized venues. But the audiences haven't returned for larger and more and no one knows when they will. Even whether the 40-60 minute album consisting of 3 1/2- 4 1/2 minute songs and instrumentals returns in large numbers is apparently in doubt across the industry. Sarah has decided to wait on releasing her album, if she does so at all, and continues to polish individual songs. I wouldn't be surprised if the trio is similarly affected.
