I love the new album, there are some highlights, LTBM, Dreams, SOCP, WIITWN, TAWR that I just absolutely love. I've never heard anything as beautiful as moonlight. I think after Christmas there are certain songs that I would find it difficult to listen to WIITWN, OCOCE, OC.

LTBM may soon surpass WSTHH in my ranking: the more I listen to it, the more it strikes me by its incredible beauty.
I also wonder if, after Christmas, I shall be interested in the "Christmas songs" - I think I may do what Riene has done: make a copy without the Christmas songs on it, perhaps augmented by some songs from Am.

Some months into AWC now, I find myself listening to the isolated song or two from the album, but not the album as a whole. I find myself returning again and again to the earlier albums--WM, SM, ADWR, TMoT.

I find myself returning again and again to the earlier albums--WM, SM, ADWR, TMoT. Yes, I know the feeling. To me, the "original four" (leaving The Celts aside) still hold their magic. Not that the recent albums have been bad, for they have not, and they have several songs that I truly adore. Maybe I'm just "stuck" in that "early" phase of the music...

I have not stopped listening to AWC. Even the Christmas songs don't bother me, although I might skip on WIITWN and OCOCE now and again, depending on mood. It's such an enveloping album in terms of mood, sound, atmosphere.....after all this time I can still play it non-stop sometimes! I especially had that when I was at work - for some reason my pc will play the cd but won't let me take it back....weird...but I put the songs on my pc, so that I won't have that problem again, and from then I put the songs on my USB stick and took it with me. I put them on my work computer (including the extended list, AWC combined with the SotS songs and some extra songs from Amarantine)....it was heavenly to play it there as well I don't play it as often as I did when I first received it - and it was a welcome cd to play during the winter months - but I think I play it a bit more often than the older ones at this point. I simply fell in love with the album completely. Love, Phantas

5 stars based on the options as 4 stars already sounded negative and I do like it. The comments haven't been updated since 2009. There should be more of these polls but I don't know is anyone else interested.
