Obviously, the "videos" on the DVD will not "mean as much" as it will to most folks. However, I still want the package including the DVD for whatever footage might be included. I am still holding out hope that some kind of biography will come and I also would be interested in some sort of "adventures" type of book. Yes, I think it would be Roma who would most likely provide us with such a work.

For people in the US, the special edition is still $22.99 at Amazon.com, but the price on the cd alone has gone up to $18.98 again. For a couple of days they were showing the cd at $14.99. I'm sure the cd price will drop again before it's shipped. It's being released Thanksgiving week in the U.S. With my luck, I'll be out of town over Thanksgiving weekend when it's delivered from Amazon... Edit: when I went back to Amazon a couple of hours ago, the cd was down to $14.99. I pre-ordered the special edition and a dvd we've been wanting to watch. I had an Amazon rewards coupon, so the final price of both including shipping is $7.75. Not bad! We're about ... 35 days until release date?

Saw a post from Nigel at Unity that Australia's getting both versions. I think the special edition will be a world-wide release. It's going to be so nice to have the music videos so available and so easily playable.

It would be much appreciated if amazon.ca allowed pre-ordering, but they don't even list the release yet (well, I checked yesterday, though not yet today).

Most odd--I check my Amazon.comUS preorder of the cd-dvd set. The item is now shown as an Import. It wasn't before. I suspect it's an Amazon listing error, but it's still curious. The price I'm paying is still shown as $20.99.
BTW, when I pre-ordered the cd-dvd, it was at $22.99. A week later Amazon had a price drop to $20.99 and, per their lowest price guarantee, adjusted the price of my order. I love Amazon. ;D

I'm glad they adjust the price...I just checked mine to make sure. It will take the ease off of the 2 day shipping I selected.
I hope this release doesn't turn out to be too difficult for people to get a hold of.
Has anyone heard about the documentary footage that is/was going to be on the DVD? I just haven't had time to sift through pages of posts elsewhere to find out.

The only thing that I'm sure will be on the dvd besides the listed videos is the A Life in Music and the Making of Caribbean Blue & Only Time videos. Possibly there will be something else, but the wording of that listing was not very clear as to whether it referred to the existing material or was referring to other documentary material. No other titles have surfaced that's for sure.

VC at Unity says the Canadian release will have a bonus track - I hope it's Miraculum as this would indeed BE a miracle for a Canadian release!!!

I know they are on YT, but they only have dial up in the country where my parents live. I was kind of hoping for a little chit chat from the Trio...but it's all good. Moe - Very cool you get a bonus track!

Interestingly this third entry is actually *cheaper* on Amazon Germany than the 2-CD-entry before that ...

It's interesting that amazon.com now lists Oiche as a bonus track for the USA - frankly, I have enough copies of that one right now We may get "Aniron" a/c to other Canadians at Unity.

If I thought the cd needed a bonus track, and that it should be a holiday themed song because of the release date, I would have chosen The Spirit of Christmas Past or (second choice) O'Come O'Come Emmanuel. I've been thinking about The Spirit of Christmas Past recently. It would have been a good single release, maybe even better than WIITWN. Sometimes slightly melancholy goes over well at the holidays, especially when combined with a beautiful melody full of minor chords, and beautiful lyrics. The entry at Amazon.com (US) for the cd-dvd set is only showing the music videos, not the documentary and making-of videos. I wonder if there is a difference in the dvds from country to country with some releases getting the extra material and others only the music videos?
