Does your country celebrate Halloween / Samhain? If so, what are some of the traditions?
What was your favorite costume as a child?
What is your favorite candy?
Have you ever been to an adult costume party?
Do you decorate? If so, how?
Are you participating this year? Handing out candy? Going to a party?

Here in Finland Halloween is still relatively new, so not going to celebrate it myself. Luckily I have my birthday on Oct 27, so that usually replaces the Halloween for me! However, Finnish children are becoming more interested in Halloween, so the stores do sell quite a lot of scary stuff such as costumes, sweets and decor. Have even seen some Halloween greeting cards there for sale!
Also, I know that the Finnish-Irish Society in Helsinki does arrange something for Halloween regularly, but I'm not that much interested in joining them there because of the distance and because I'm more into other Celtic mythology and culture.

What was your favorite costume as a child? A robot costume I made out of cardboard boxes when I was in the 6th grade. It won second place.
What is your favorite candy? Circus peanuts
Have you ever been to an adult costume party? Yes, but not for decades.
Do you decorate? If so, how? Yes, but mostly as autumn decor.
Are you participating this year? Handing out candy? Going to a party? No one comes to our house due to location in the middle of nowehere.

Does your country celebrate Halloween / Samhain? If so, what are some of the traditions? We really seem to hype up Halloween here. Personal traditions are decorating and trick or treating, and going to the school carnival. I was once invited to a Samhain event as well. Women only and fun.
What was your favorite costume as a child? I don't remember a favorite one. I was a cat once, and princess one yea. I remember crying because my parents insisted that I wear a coat with that costume!
What is your favorite candy? Nestle 100000 Bars
Have you ever been to an adult costume party? Yes, just once. I went as an ice queen.
Do you decorate? If so, how? We do some general autumn decorations--tablecloth and runner, real large pumpkins on the porch, bronze chrysanthemums, autumn wreath on the front door, candles.
Are you participating this year? Handing out candy? Going to a party? Handing out candy, if anyone comes by. The neighborhood used to really do Halloween--bonfire, hay ride, lots of kids out. It's a great neighborhood for walking and perfectly safe, but in recent years they all seem to only go to the school carnivals and church events.

Ghost and fairy stories. Bobbing for apples, appley food, roasted Chestnuts. Also blends into Bonfire night with huge fires, burning effigies(don't ask!) and fireworks.
What was your favorite costume as a child?
What?
What is your favorite candy?
None, floss and brush your teeth !
Have you ever been to an adult costume party?
Adult Costume Party! Is that apporpriate on an Enya site ? Or did you mean have I been to a fancy dress party as an adult ? In that cases, frequently, I also did Cosplay at SFcons.
Do you decorate? If so, how? For Halloween, no.
Are you participating this year? Handing out candy? Going to a party?
