I thought this ad is cool, Orinoco Flow has such a big role in it, they're singing it in the car and then it turns into the actual song. Always when something like this happens I think of the moment when they approved it, ok, you can use our song in a Hyundai ad! Odd but true.

I caught this by accident on the internet the other day. I'm not sure what to think of it. The singing isn't quite "on" but I like the concept that her music soothes the savage beasts (kids squabbling).

IMO, this is the most memorable ad featuring Enya's music since the Jean-Claude Van Damme ad for Volvo some years ago. I agree that the singing during the "de-de" parts is "off" (especially when the elderly woman chimes in, sounding a bit gurgly!). It's kind of funny how the first kid switches from bickering to singing so quickly once the AC comes on, and then how his sister joins in so quickly after giving him a puzzled look. Well, time just moves faster in a 1 minute ad, I suppose! My favorite part of course is when the actual song kicks in, at the end. Nothing beats the original!

What a funny manuscript for the ad! Though personally I think they should have made this ad for Skoda Enyaq instead...! Suvi

I was just thinking that there's another new Enya+car ad, the Enyaq one, wonder why they've named it Enyaq.

Yes, that's about how I would pronounce it... I think it's a Czech car brand so they might pronounce it differently though.

Thanks, good to know.

Good find Candace66, though they should have also mentioned Enya/Eithne as an example of perhaps the most famous person with that name...!

I think that's a clever ad and it's well done.
