I somehow only just came across the term "Irish twins" in the past few weeks; it generally refers to children (not necessarily Irish) being born of the same mother within a year (some consider it up to 18 months of each other). However, this Irish stereotype was considered quite insulting in the past ( this has a bit more background information). In a polite way, of course, I have wondered if any of the siblings in the Brennan family would be considered this - for example, Enya, her late older brother Leon, and younger sister Olive could be considered the Irish triplets version. I haven't seen Leon's or Olive's birthdays or years confirmed though (maybe born in 1959-60 and 1962-63 respectively?). The only source for Olive was someone mentioning on Leon's memories page on Facebook that Baba was expecting Olive in 1962 or 1963 when they met. I also had this interesting discussion before on Twitter with a lady from Japan about Enya and the existence of Olive, and their birth years. I would still think Enya's date of birth is 17th May 1961 like it appears in documents, and I would guess Olive was born in late 1962 (so she might be 60 now).
It is said that these siblings often have quite a close connection with each other too. ๐ค I don't have an Irish twin, haha, but I think my two younger sisters would count as 'Irish twins' if it counts up to 18 months apart. Does anyone else here have siblings rather close in age like this?
