Moya's autobiography was, for me, a revelation: I had not know much about her, though I liked her music. I find the book to be amazingly honest and wide-ranging - to "follies" of her youthful days were not glossed over. I gained tremendous respect for Moya after reading her book, and I came to understand why her faith plays such a large role in her life. It's a good read, I recommend it

It's one of the best biographies I've read. Unfortunately, it's out of print now and difficult to find at a reasonable price, and not the kind of book you'll find in the library, either. I asked Moya about the possibility of it being published in the U.S. and she wasn't hopeful. The possibility of a reprint in the UK also seems unlikely. If you don't have the book already, it'll take careful watching of online sources to find a copy at a decent price.
BTW, the idea that it couldn't be published in the U.S. is strange to me. She has ties with a Christian publishing organization based in the U.S. Why they wouldn't jump to print her biography is a mystery to me.

Thanks for keeping an eye out for a source, Treecat. I haven't read this book, but I would like to. Maybe someone will have it on eBay or something like that. I'll keep an eye out as well.

I have to agree, an amazing read. I had no idea it was out of print so soon, I got my copy very early on when it was released. I'm so happy that things have turned out so well for Moya after such rocky times earlier on. Visiting Donegal in 2005, it was amazing to see all the places mentioned in the book. I remember us joking a bit about the haunted house near the Poison Glen.

I would love to see the boat on Bunbeg Beach. Is there a more quintessential Clannad-Enya video element than that boat?
I bought the paperback from Amazon.UK when it was available. I wish I had gotten another 2-3 copies for gifts. I found a hardback at a good price last year at a used bookstore and got it.
I would think it could be published in the US through a Christian publishing house, and I believe Moya has worked with one here. So surprised it's gone out of print.

Love her autobiography: it really gives an insight into her life, career, and faith. I never tire of rereading it. I was was fortunate enough to have my read copy personalized when she here in NYC last December 2006. She signed it in green!

I have the hardcover. I have yet to finish it as I mentioned somewhere on the forum, but I've heard a lot of good things about it.

I bought my copy of Moya's autobiography about 5 years ago. I saw it on her homepage and then I asked in my fave bookstore wether it's possible to get it. One of the sellers ordered it for me after I've asked for that book.
And last year I took it with me to Moya's concert and Moya signed it for me. Now I have a "special" copy of Moya's book!
It was a really strange feeling to see Moya last year while I remembered all those things I've read about in her book. It was strange to know that while I was talking to her.
