If you've seen/read much many Enya interviews you'll know there are always (so it seems to me) the same old questions. I thought it might be fun to post them here, starting with my fav question, which is usually asked right at the start of the conventional interview:
"So, Enya, you live in a castle."
To which she usually responds, "Yes, but it's a very small castle."
OK, what are your favourite "inevitable interview questions"?

Oh excellent thread, Kerry! I think there's a jar of Enya questions that all the interviewers use (as opposed to researching her and her music and using their brains..) and a jar of answers that Enya uses (which she knows will satisfy 99.999 percent of the interviewers she faces...
So my fav at the mo:
"How does this album differ from the other albums?"
To which she responds, "There are twelve little stories..." ROFLOL! She's been using that one since TMOT!!!

"So, Enya, you come from a large family?"
Answer - yes, there were nine children, and I'm Enya in the middle

'I understand that your father owns a pub?'
Answer - Uh hmmm...yes, yes he does (usually has that little Enyaish smile)

Ah yes, Lone*star, I've heard that one many a time!
Another:
"You come from a very musical family, don't you?"
Ah yes, my father had a band and my mother taught piano. We always sang a lot.

"We understand that you consider 'Enya' to be three people? How is that?"
Answer - Yes, it would be myself, my lyricist Roma Ryan and Nicky Ryan.

"Will you ever go on tour?"
Answer - I'd love to tour, but it would be so hard to reproduce the sound.

This one is inspired by Skyscape Question: Can you say "I love you" in Loxian for us? I heard that in almost every interview done for Am.

Perhaps these are the only questions Enya allows interviewers to ask.

Perhaps these are the only questions Enya allows interviewers to ask. It wouldn't be surprising if reporters are given a list of subjects that Enya won't talk about, so as to not waste her time and their's during the interview. However, I also think Enya is not being interviewed by the kind of press that does any in depth research on her and the music which would lead to fresh questions.
