This could be a triumph or a disaster. I'm trying to work out how it will sound - will it be an Enya track with a guitar solo pegged on - or will Enya completely integrate the guitar solo into the song. Interesting.
Isn't 'My My' quite a quaint, cutesy little phrase though?

I am not sure if it is quaint...hmmm
This sounds like a "Lazy Days" type of song to me....

Maybe it is something that Jimmy Faulkner was known for saying?

Well, it's kind of quaint - I never use the phrase "my my" - I'm a bit more, um, colourful I wonder if rhyme was a factor: my my times flies compare trains and winter rains

I'm not disappointed, this song is even one of my favourites on the album! The guitar sounds sound great and they fit this quite contemporary song very well. I don't like dancing, but this makes even me dance! And the lyrics are cooool! ;D

It's a very catchy tune, even for a 30 second clip. I LOVE the way she is laying her vocals down so far on this album. LOL I keep listening to it over and over. *tries not to go into full fan mode like TC* lol Here is the link posted at Unity for those who have not seen it. You will want to scroll down to "disc 1" so you can see the song list. www.bol.com/nl/p/muziek/and-winter-came/1000004006304624/index.html;jsessionid=2285F41A4BE6EE03DE3286B8CB6D8C71.ps74#product_imagesEnjoy!

This album should outperform Amarantine by leaps and bounds. Every song sounds like a perfect track.

A great Blues Song. Enough said. A heavy slap onto the forehead of any die-hard Enya = New Age fan, but an absolutely great song. If this goes on (Someone said goodbye was already a hint to that), we'll have a great unique new blues composer !

I don't know if anyone has already touched on this or not, but line:
"My! My! Time Flies! A rap on a rhapsody, a king who's still in the news, a king to sing you the blues."
Think she is referring to BB King? Elivs? Thoughts? I suppose I should check to see if "King" is capitalized in the lyrics once they are posted on Enya.com. I'm leaning towards BB King...thoughts anyone?

What kind of guitar is going on in the song? Acoustic might = Elvis "the King." Electric might = BB King.
Gah, I can't wait to get this album. I hate not being able to talk about it.

Is the rap on a rhapsody a reference to Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody? the king in the news sound like Elvis the king who sings the blues = BB King I think Waiting is soooo frustrating....................

I also agree (didn't touch the lyrics, yet) that The King is always considered to be Elviis, and the "rap on a rhapsody" is in a way how music evolved from the Bohemian Rhapsody to the Rap Music of today - just another sign of how "time flies".
In my booklet it ain't capitalized.

Ooo, I love this song -- it's definitely one of my favourite on AWC. I wish Enya could explore more and do songs like these...
And yes, it does make me want to dance ;D

This is a very catchy cool track... I was a bit blown away by the guitar solo in it! Ahrod is sure to love this one ;D I so want to see Enya doing a crazy windmill-arms guitar solo to this!! Perhaps that's what she'll do for Children in Need on Friday where she's meant to be appearing? They often get celebrities to do crazy stunts all in the name of charity!

I agree. This is really a different and cool track. I like the way the guitar is used. It's really a unique kind of song to hear from Enya, yet it still possess the Enya "signature" sound to it.
