I am always looking to find new music to listen to, so I thought this would be a good place for people to let us know what groups/solo artists etc that they enjoy listening to. Maybe we can get some good ideas from one another. I'll go first.
Blue October, Golden Palominos (non early albums), Delerium, Gigi D'agostino, Bon Jovi, Chemical Brothers, Linkin Park, Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, Moby, Tori Amos, Explosions in the Sky, Leftfield, Pink Floyd, Mars Lasar, Sarah McLachlan, Wild Strawberries, Paul Oakenfold, David Arkenstone...

Suvi, great list! I just wanted to thank you for introducing me to the work of Karl Jenkins. I have become a fan of his work, and I think I have almost all of the albums

I'm very surprised that I've never seen anyone on Unity or here on Marble Halls, mention one of my other female musician Suzanne Chiani, who's career started in the 1970's. She is a five time Grammy nominated artist for "Best New Age Album". I discovered her music about the same time as Enya in the 1980's.

Do you mean Suzanne Ciani, the Buchla queen?

I like Kyle Carey very much. She's an American with roots in Scotland and she also sings in Gaelic. But it's more folk than "new age".. www.kyleannecarey.com/

Emmylou Harris, Randy Crowell (and the duet cd they did together, Old Yellow Moon), and Emmylou's cd with Mark Knoffler, All the Roadrunning. And music Emmylou did with Dolly Parton and Linda Ronstadt (Trio and followup cds), as well as her Angel Band and Live at the Ryman and other cds. Les Amis, a (now disbanded) Louisiana cajun band Pandora is currently set to 60's Surf music because I love the guitars and it ... really should be getting warmer by now! English classical composer Ralph Vaughn-Williams (recently bought a compilation of his symphonies recorded (mono recordings) in the 1950's with Adrian Boult conducting.

Have you heard the song Emmylou did with Dan Fogelberg? It's called "Only The Heart May Know". It's on YT, you may like it. It on his Innocent Age album, not sure if it is on any of her albums.

Michael, I haven't heard that but I'll look for it on YT this afternoon. I am hoping Emmylou comes back to Atlanta this year. We missed her last concert at Chastain when we were on vacation.

I love the Red Hot Chilli Pipers, not to be confused with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. I have seen the Pipers a few times. I also like 80's music. I am not much of a fan of today's music. I just hear noise lol. Gaelic Storm, Blazin Fiddles,
