I was watching some Olympic coverage on the CBC yesterday, and they were doing some kind of "feature" - with Moya singing something in the background. It was very hard to hear, but it was definitely Moya's voice.
I hope to catch it again.

I just downloaded the song for 99 cents on iTunes Plus. I haven't had time to play it yet because I just got back from the trip, but I'm hoping to later today. ;D

Posted by TreeCat at Unity: Excellent news indeed! Moya has a reclusive sister? This is neat...I'll record it. Maybe we can keep this updated for dates and so on. I don't have any of her CD's, but I would like to give this a listen.

I tell ya, this is the best Brennan news I've heard since Aigle announced AWC. I can't wait to see it. I'm pricing dvd recorders now. Of course, there's one big question regarding this series.....

and that question is whether Moya will use her shakey lemon thing!!!
OK, maybe not.....................
Let's do what OWB suggested and try to post airing dates on the various PBS affiliates; as I posted, I can monitor the Boston one.

I rarely watch television, so I'll be grateful if someone posts the airing time of these shows. Otherwise I'll probably miss them altogether!
And that question is...whether she'll speak Gaelic or not, right?

I don't watch a lot of the PBS specials, so I don't really know how they work, but does anyone think it's possible she might have some family guests stop by? Maybe her Dad?? The only PBS concert I have really watched was Pink Floyd.

The only PBS concert I have really watched was Pink Floyd. There's no way to tell. The PBS music specials have followed all kinds of formats, from concerts to local interviews with music breaks interspersed. But I think it would be tremendous if Moya were in Dublin and introduced her sister -- Bridin.

I think Moya is touring with Clannad in Germany at the moment. Great to see the band back on the road. They will soon be celebrating their 50th birthday!
